In 2021, Toyota, in partnership with Toyota Tsusho, announced the new Liberty location of its battery manufacturing plant with an initial investment of $1.29 billion. On Wednesday August 31, 2022 Toyota invested another 2.5 Billion into the Toyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina (TBMNC) facility making its total investment a whopping $3.8 billion and providing the area with approximately 2,100 new jobs! This facility will produce batteries for hybrid electric vehicles and battery electric vehicles and take Toyota one step closer to its goal of carbon neutrality by the year 2035! Music in the Park is a summer concert series that has been entertaining families for over a decade! Featuring 3 concerts in Simi Valley and 1 concert in Oak Park. The Simi Valley concerts are held on the 3rd Saturday in June, July, and August, with the Oak Park event traditionally held in July (though subject to change). Simi Valley Toyota is excited to join its community this Saturday, Aug 20th, to listen to Yachtley Crew The Titans Of Soft Rock! Concerts start at 6:30 pm and are free to attend. Bring a blanket or chairs. Spaces cannot be roped off. Food vendors are available on-site or enjoy a picnic in the park.
